In Bienvenue, Eugénie Rebetez immerses herself into her own body to explore its most enigmatic recesses. The stage becomes an intimate space, an inner home that she inhabits. She consistently circulates between the inner and the outer, transforming herself and rendering the boundaries between body and space permeable. Alone in this inner garden, she invents her very own togetherness by engaging in dialogue with everything that surrounds her. How can one be open to others, be part of the world, yet at the same time remain true to oneself and one’s imagination without losing oneself?
