Ha ha ha
HA HA HA
Creation for a young audience - from 6 years old on
Lenght : 50 minutes
Premiere on November 4th, 2021 at Tanzhaus Zürich / all tourdates
Ha ha ha - as something out of control coming from the belly and resonating throughout the body.
Ha ha ha - as emotions that become objects and play partners.
Ha ha ha - as stories about learning and the search for autonomy.
Ha ha ha - as a reflection on the growth of children, and also of adults.
Ha ha ha - as the ease to move forward even in the most difficult situations.
Ha ha ha - as laughter becoming music and dance.
The piece is created for the dancer and performer Tarek Halaby who, with his large adult body, rather hairy and very sensual, embodies a character a bit out of place and full of grace. His path is punctuated by experiences that touch, affect and transform him. It is by adapting that the protagonist of Ha ha ha will reveal all his strength and beauty. Can laughter move us forward? Eugénie Rebetez proposes a choreography combining lightness and gravity, where humor can be tender and fierce.
